1. DTM Draping road and setting up void .
a. in top view, create topo lines (using terrain tool)
b. in top view, create roadway using terrain tool , diff color
c. build rectangle, diff color
d. goto Geopak Site DTM tools
e. extract graphics using second icon first col extract graphics tools)
Binary, create, feature mode.
Reset search criteria
Match topo lines
Display
Apply
Binary, append, void mode
Reset search criteria
Match Rectangle

f. Build triangles using second icon second col, build triangles tool
g. Load DTM features using 4th icon first col, Load DTM features tool
h. Load TIN to layer 1
I. Drape vectors using 3rd icon, second col, Drape vectors tools
Select tin file, choose layer, select lines
Use construct surface by edges tools to connect draped lines
Move up to demonstrate roadway.
j. try with boundary lines

2. Create shed roof with skylight
a. Rectangle in plan (use place block tool).
b. Vertical line at mid-point of opposite sides of rectangle
c. Use smart line to join corner points with top of vertical line to make two sides of roof
d. To place rectangle on side of roof with the place block tool, a) snap to corner point, use “O” for offset option, use “RA” to establish construction plane, and then,
e. Enter dimension along X-axis and hit the enter key to lock it in, and enter dimension along the Y-axis and hit the enter key to lock it in, and then place first corner point of rectangle and then second diagonally opposite corner point of rectangle.
f. Use modify surface tools to cut hole in shed roof.
