NOTE: These are extracurricular workshop notes for students who are interested fluid dynamicsi n Phoenix.   The notes for this workshop are deferred to a tutorial provided by Chaos, the software development company that licenses Phoenix. 1.  Activation To activate the Phoenix plugin within Maya, go the the menu item "Windows Setting/Preferences" and select the checkbox to "on" for the Phoenix plugin.

2. The most effective introductory tutorial is likely the Basic Liquid one published by Chaos Group at this address:

These tutorials come with written step by step instructions and downloadable file assets. Note that alternatively, the fluid dynamics effects tutorial of workshop notes 17 can also be used to explore some similar concepts.
