Exercise 3: In and out of the light and trailer for final movie.

Create a 30 seconds to 2 minute maximum time length animation that explores varied lighting conditions and highlighted movements of people, objects or performers. Optionally incorporate sound. Establish themes for this animation as a short movie trailer preview for your final project.

1. Use a range lighting types (spot, point, etc.).
2. Create one or several sequences at the same resolution. HD 720 or HD 540 resolution is recommended.
3. Work with one or more objects.
4. Render your work in Maya software and/or V-Ray.
5. Compile your work into an animation with the h.264 or mp4 codec and save to the mov or mp4 file format.
6. Place your work on the CLASSES server or Collab in your personal submit folder under the folder named "exercise3" and email a short 1 to 2 paragraph written description to the course instructor similar to previous exercises.
