With the newly proposed Republican healthcare bill, coverage for people with pre-existing conditions is seriously threatened. Pre-existing conditions are now much more broadly defined, including many mental health problems, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, COPD, or even asthma.
