The area of the map’s inner circles represent the number of refugees under 18, compared to the total number of refugees (outer circle). Also, countries are highlighed, showing those with healthy economies and resources, ranked by GDP. In 2015, only 3 of these countries (China, Germany, and Brazil) took in more than 1,000 child refugees.
