Immigration Observation

Immigration is a hot topic right now. From my Immigration Visualization in these years (1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2007, 2012), we can see that Immigration pattern changes a lot. But America is always largest Immigration country.

In 70s, there are few Immigration. In 90s, many Mexican immigrated to USA, however in 21 century, the immigrattion decresed. Now Chian has become the largest county with immigrants to other countries.

Economy Observation

Japan, South Korea, China are three countries in Asia, which developed sequentially. Do they have some similarity? What is the difference between their development pattern? What does their economy pattern look like right now? Does Japan rely on high technology, China rely on manufacture? Why these three neighboring countries developed rapidly in past 40 years?

These questions intrigue my interest and are worthwhile doing research in the future.

Technology Export Observation

America Technology Export(% of manufactured exports) maintained at 30% in the 90s. However, the percentage has decreased since 2008.

Philippines and Malaysia high-technology export is always nearly 40%. This is an interesting fact because these two countries are not good at high technology industry. How does this happen? What part of high-technology constitutes the export? How does this affect their economy? These all are very interesting questions.

Death Rate Obesrvation

In the 60s, most countries in the world have a relatively high death rate, except serval developed countries, like the USA.

In these 40 years, the death rate of countries in Asian and Latin American decreased. While Russia death rate increased.

Now, the death rate in the middle of Africa is still very high.

GDP Growth Obesrvation

In the 60s, countries in Latin America and Japan economy grew and they went into recession in the 80s.

Since 1991, with the Soviet Union formally dissolved, Russia economy began to decline until 1999.

In 2009, with the recent global financial crisis, most of the countries had negative growth, including America. While China still maintained GDP growth rate at 9%.

Air_Transport Obesrvation

In 70s, America is the largest county with Air Transport. Other countries air transport development falls behind America

Staring from 90s, the world air transport developed rapidlly. At present, except Africa, all other continents have large air transpot system.

CO2 Emission Obesrvation

From the Aisan CO2 Emission graph through 40 years, we can find serval phenomenon:

The CO2 Emission of Saudi Arabia increased dramatically since 1960s, with the development of Oil exploitation.

Japan, South Korea, and China's CO2 emission increased one by one, with their ecomonic development. The ecomony growth accompanies with CO2 Emission.
