Are Foreign Workers Paid Less than American Workers?

Following through his "Make America Great Again" campaign, President Trump signed an executive order to tighten rules that award visas to highly skilled foreign workers.
We've seen protests stating that these foreign workers are replacing American jobs because of a system loophole that allows employers to pay less to H1B workers than their American counterparts. Stories also claimed that instead of assisting US companies to hire qualified foreign workers, global staffing firms have hijacked the system to help hire cheaper labor instead. This visualization allows users to explore whether the dissent around cheap foreign labor is true.
