Note: "Political" measures the percent of women in statewide elected executive office, "labor" measures percent of women in the labor force, "earnings" measures the earnings ratio between women and men employed full-time, and
"reproductive" measures the percent of women living in counties with at least one abortion provider. Data regarding female status indicators comes from the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR)'s Status of Women reports.
