In 2018-2021, 494 bills were introduced in US States concerning the rights of transgender individuals. Of those Bills, 43 have been passed and become Laws. 261 concerned discrimination generally, 78 targeted the ability of trans youth to compete in sports, 64 focused on healthcare access, 35 concerned alterning gender on official identification, and 22 targeted restroom access.
