When on UVA Grounds or connected through UVA's VPN system from off grounds, you can avail yourself of file storage and workspace on a file server system known as SARC-Classes. This is more immediately accessible from links that appear on the destop folder of Windows public computer workstation within the School of Architecture. Or,  on any computer, depending upon whether you use Mac or Win OS, you should do one of the two alternatives:

1. For Apple computers on Grounds or via the UVA VPN network from off grounds, use the “Go / Connected to Server" menu, enter the following address, and then select the "Connect" button:

smb://Classes.arch.virginia.edu/SARC-Classes

2. For Window computers on Grounds or via the UVA VPN network from off grounds, use the “Start/Run” command, enter the following address, and then select the "OK" button:

\\classes.arch.virginia.edu\SARC-CLASSES

3. With respect to either OS, select the specific classes folder from the available list of folders (e.g, "ARCH5500-ARCH8500-Mark-SPR2024").
